Sunday School

Rabbi Elliot L. Stevens Kol Ami Religious School's mission is to strengthen our children’s faith in God, their love of Torah and their identification with the Jewish people. We inspire a strong sense of Jewish Community and enhance the observance of Jewish culture, education and values.

In May 2008, the Agudath Israel Etz Ahayem Sunday School and the Reform Temple Beth Or combined their schools into one - the Kol Ami Religious School. The combined school uses a nondenominational curriculum prepared by the Goldring Woldenberg Institute for Southern Jewish Life.

Students revisit the following content areas with increased sophistication as they mature:

  • Community

  • Culture and Symbols

  • God

  • Hebrew and Prayer

  • Israel

  • Jewish History

  • Jewish Holidays

  • Jewish Life-cycle Events

  • Mitzvot and Jewish Values

  • Tanach (Torah, Prophets and Writings)

The curriculum is age-appropriate and nurtures our children's Jewish identity. If you are interested in enrolling your child in to Sunday School, call the office or email the office with the button below.
